Sealed, Expunged & Restricted
Kentucky excludes juvenile, mental-health, domestic-violence, expunged, and other confidential matters from ordinary AOC criminal-record reports. Public files can also redact personal identifiers and information about protected victims or minors. Absence from a report may therefore reflect a lawful restriction, purge, age of coverage, or data gap rather than proof that no record was ever created.
Expungement is Kentucky's term for statutory removal of eligible records. Qualifying dismissals with prejudice and acquittals entered on or after July 15, 2020 are generally auto-expunged after 30 days, except traffic cases. Eligible misdemeanors and specified felony convictions use other statutory procedures. An agency record can remain until a governing law or order requires its removal, so “dismissed” and “disappeared from all systems” do not mean the same thing.

A sealed indictment, juvenile warrant, new entry, or officer-safety restriction may not be public. A clear result in some unrelated online system cannot cancel a warrant. Someone resolving their own warrant should obtain current appearance and bond directions from the issuing court or counsel instead of relying on an unofficial list. When releasable, a warrant record may identify the name, case or warrant number, warrant type, charge, issuing court and date, bond, and status.
Pendleton County Criminal Supervision Runs Through Kentucky DOC
Probation in Pendleton County is state-run through Kentucky Department of Corrections Probation and Parole District 14, not a county probation department. Courts place probationers on supervision, the Kentucky Parole Board makes parole decisions, and DOC officers manage community supervision.
